Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. Does the EV200-0022G-T4 have a built-in braking unit?
No. According to the manual, EV200 models from 0.75kW to 2.2kW do not have a built-in braking unit. You cannot connect an external braking resistor directly to this unit. For applications requiring fast stopping (high inertia loads), please use the DC Injection Braking function (Parameters P6-10 to P6-14) or consider the larger 3.7kW model (EV200-0037G-T4), which includes a braking unit.
2. Can I use a single-phase 220V input with this model?
No. The EV200-0022G-T4 is designed strictly for a Three-Phase 380V input. Connecting single-phase 220V will result in an Undervoltage (FU09) fault, and the drive will not operate. For single-phase 220V input, please select the EV200-0022G-S2.
3. What are the dimensions of this VFD?
This is a “Narrow Body” model. The dimensions are Height: 180mm, Width: 85.5mm, Depth: 116.4mm. It is designed to be mounted side-by-side with other units to save space in the control cabinet.
4. How do I set it up for a constant-pressure water supply?
This VFD has a built-in PID controller (Group PA). You can connect a pressure sensor (0-10V or 4-20mA) to the AI1 terminal. Set P0-03=8 (PID) to control frequency via PID. Set PA-01 to your target pressure percentage, and PA-02=0 (AI1 feedback). The drive will automatically adjust pump speed to maintain pressure.

Warning: 380V voltage is dangerous. Disconnect power before wiring.
Step 1: Mechanical Installation
Mount the VFD vertically. Ensure the air intake at the bottom and exhaust at the top are not blocked.
Step 2: Wiring
Input: Connect 3-Phase 380V power to terminals R, S, T.
Output: Connect the 2.2kW motor wires to U, V, W.
Ground: Connect the Earth Ground to the PE terminal.
Step 3: Parameter Setup Power on. Use the keypad (PRG key) to enter parameters:
P1-01: 2.2 (Motor Power)
P1-02: 380 (Motor Voltage)
P1-03: 5.1 (Motor Current – Check Nameplate!)
P1-04: 50.00 (Frequency)

Step 4: Auto-Tuning
Set P0-01 = 0 (Vector Control).

Step 5: Run
Set P0-02 = 1 for Terminal Control (External Switch) or 0 for Keypad Control.
